Great post, I love your blog and your recipes. you must be a great cook. and I love this idea of making your own food...like Hummus, You inspired me for some unknown reason to make hummus Thankyou.

Any way here it is how to Prepare Dried Chickpeas...
Place the chickpeas in a colander and rinse. Remove any nonfood material that you find. Place the chickpeas in a pan and cover with water. Allow them to soak overnight.
Drain the chickpeas, cover them with water once again and bring to a boil. Turn the pot down to a simmer, cover it with a lid and allow it to cook for 45-60 minutes.The chickpeas should be tender when it is done.
