My Views on Outward Beauty
Beauty is not about fashion magazines , being skinny , being young , showing off your body , wearing makeup , being a celebrity or model , and the list goes on …
It is about showing who you are , you don’t have to wear makeup to show off your beauty like a peacock . You can be beautiful with or without . It doesn’t define who you are . There are many important women in our history like Rosa Parks , Mother Teresa , Princess Diana , etc. who were beautiful and women who helped shape our society by their good works .
Fashion is a fantasy world where actual photos are photoshopped and all the blemishes a person has goes away . We have to remember we can’t strive to look exactly like those photos because in reality they don’t exist . We can admire it as Art .
We are not young forever and have to cherish the time we have to take photos for memories we will need to look back on .
You can be beautiful whether you are young or old . The media has a very strong influence on women on how they should look to how they should act . We don’t have to listen to this brainwashing us . We can filter out what is good for us and what is not .

Toxic Ingredients in Cosmetics and products
Have you ever read what's in your beauty products ? I have and that is why I have stopped using most of the cosmetics I use to use . Now once in a while I use nail polish and have no choice but to use regular shampoo and conditioner since it is so expensive and not that natural here . My hand soap must have all natural ingredients due to my sensitive skin .

I use regular toothpaste because I can't find natural ones on the market . I try the best I can . For using deodorant I stopped buying it and now make my own !

For toothpaste the easiest part is to buy baking powder and mix it with cinnamon powder and or peppermint e. oil or another e. oil that will make a good taste . I got the cinnamon idea from I book I got from the library but forgot the title since it was so long ago . If you go to the library you will be able to find so many books on this topic .

This is a very simple recipe that I wanted to share . I make my own chai without this recipe since I am use to making it here in India for myself and occasionally for guests . Tea is one of my favorite things that I have in the mornings and late afternoons plus it is also tradition here to have it twice a day according to the breakfast and snack times .

Thoughts
There is too much discrimination of sex , religion , race , everything that faces us in the media like news , tv , and more .
I can't stand when I read about gay teens killing themselves because they were bullied in school and so on .
It is a very confusing and frustrating thing being in India when you have to hear bad news about muslims
all the time being discriminated and everyone really .
It just boggles my mind at how narrow minded people really can be . I say if it bothers you then stay away from this negativity whether it be gossip about another person , or whether you feel you reveal too much personal information to a friend or someone you don't know that well * which is what I have done and felt terrible about it in the end .
Seriously right now I am just an emotional mess and feel confused , tired , and just not myself , maybe it is because it's that time of the month , lol . I am kind of afraid to share that tidbit about period and all but as women we all have it then why not share and unite about when we feel down instead of tearing each other apart and being distant .
I don't know I am just all over the place with my thoughts and all . Maybe it is the weather here too since it is very hot and humid here in central India .
What do think ? Am I alone or are there others who feel the same >

Just Be Yourself . If you don't feel comfortable changing a part of you that someone else has pointed out you should change then don't . Only change it if you want or feel it would be beneficial for you .
Don't be pushed or forced to be someone who you just can't be .
The good and positive part of the world works on kindness , love , honesty , being real and not fake , and everything that goes with positivity .
We all need to connect and have good friends in this life or we end up feeling lonely , depressed , secluded , etc..

I am inspired by the cooking shows on the Travel and Living cable channel that is available here in India since it shows culinary cuisine and dishes from all over the world .
I wish I was one of those foodie experts who could just travel to any part of the world and taste dishes like pho soup from Vietnam or have some Thai food like coconut shrimp soup or Thai ice tea .

She also makes all natural cream perfumes as well and beautiful jewelry that goes with the design and theme of the shop . I won a giveaway from her facebook page about a month and when I received her products I was really surprised at how beautifully packaged her items were and how great the perfumes' and bath salts smelled .

I love moonstone and labradorite since both of these stones have an iridescent magic sheen and a change of light and color . They look magical and beautiful to me and I can never get enough of real silver and semi precious stone jewelry . The beauty of these dainty earrings are simple but yet so beautiful and tiny at the same time . The ring is similar to one I had that 4 stones and each branched out going up and down like this ring .
Personally I can only really wear silver and gold since I am allergic to other metals when wearing earrings only . I like gold too but silver is my favorite and much more affordable for me to buy .

Natural Cosmetics
I gave up using regular cosmetics a while back even though I cheat at times with nail polish .
The reason why I gave it up was because I was concerned for my health about what was in the ingredients labels and thought I don't want to get any Cancer or illnesses in the long run so I stopped . My point of this post is share my views because I love natural cosmetics a lot .
Favorite companies > 100 Percent Pure
really like the lip and cheek tints . they also post contests from time to time on their facebook so check up regularly if you're interested !

right now I can't really think of any more companies that I have tried but I look for ingredients which I know about or have researched that are safe
I also have an old youtube channel which I would like to share with you all . I was hesitant at first since thought it would be strange cause it is also under another name which I made up for youtube .

Save The Dolphins in Japan
I just watched the documentary The Cove last night and it was extremely difficult to watch dolphins in Taiji , Japan being slaughtered .
My thoughts of what I could do to help are limited only through signing petitions but I still want to help spread the word out there to my fellow followers and friends who read my blog .
You may have already seen The Cove or heard about the dolphin issue in Japan but it's still going on despite things being done about it by animal activists etc.
I would like to share these links with you about this issue .
Please don't support circuses or any place that holds any animal in captivity by the wrong means like SeaWorld , Barnum and Bailey ,etc.

Fur Free
I just saw a post about Kate Hudson on justjared.com sporting a light colored grey fur coat made by Burberry . It made me feel shocked and yet not so surprised but honestly a bit sad and angry .
I may not be a vegetarian but when it comes down to animal cruelty and the welfare of animals I can't stand seeing fur coats when I have seen the horror stories about it from animal welfare groups and sites .
It would be different if one had an animal in the farm and killed it for it's meat for cooking and the used all it's resources like fur and skin for a carpet , coat , etc , but that is not what happens to these innocent creatures .
Take a look at Stella McCartney , she is a vegetarian designer who has fur free fashion . She may not be my favorite designer but she stands by her ethics and does not hurt an animal just for the sake of fashion and trends .
It is people like Anna Wintour and many others in the fashion and entertainment industry who choose to support wearing fur and advertise it . Also , I am not judging these people just feel the choice they are making by sporting fur is wrong to me .

They must be cruelty free if they do have fur and certified that they are . Smashbox supposedly has makeup brushes which are cruelty free which is what one Smashbox makeup artist told me once . 100 Percent Pure is entirely cruelty free and so much more ..
I love etsy.com for their handmade clothing , makeup , and accessories too .

Airplanes and etc..
I just opened my window at night and happened to see an airplane flying across the air .
Whenever I see one flying in the sky , I imagine myself being in that plane and flying .
wondering where they are flying to and what it is like ..
I have traveled on planes and the things I enjoy are the meals on international flights , sitting
in a seat next to a window so I can see everything , watching and listening to music , and
sitting next to someone nice and respectful .
What about you ?

currently I am watching Uptown Girls with Brittany Murphy who passed away . I am trying to remember her for her positive movies so lately I have been watching them . I found her work from imdb.com .
Also love the animated films like Howl's Moon and Spirited Away .

Go for what you like personally . Trends may come and go but if you choose what you like and are into then you develop your own sense of taste .
Example : Trends of the moment / dark black goth looks , grunge , etc.
Lulu likes to wear vintage clothes and want to dress like her style icon Audrey Hepburn .
Remember trends die out quickly . Don't feel pushed or pressured into following someone else's
idea of style and fashion even if they say that is a fashion don't . Be comfortable with yourself and then your true sense of personal style will come through .

1st Post / Introduction
Hello ,
This is just a blog about my thoughts and so on . I wanted to have a 2nd blog
posting about how I feel .
To me , it doesn't matter if people think it's boring
etc. because I just want to kind of have this as my own outlet .
It is not to entertain everyone , it's just there to be there if you know what I mean .
Been thinking about doing a blog for a while but I thought no because people
might not like it or I might not be good at it .
I am interested in reading other people's blogs so thought why not . The grammar may not be great .I should positive instead and try this out !
Maybe shoot some ideas out at me so I can start bloggin' .
